Julian Marshall

Born in 1965 in Greenwich, London.   Lives and works in Paris.

Raised in a household of artist’s trained at Goldsmith’s and The Slade School of Art in London.

1985-89,  Studies law at Staffordshire University, Stoke-on-Trent.                         

In 1990 decides not to pursue a legal career and is offered by chance a position as a photographer’s assistant which continues till 1995.

From 1995 – 2018,  fashion and portrait photographer - works and travels internationally for publications such as Vogue, Harper’s  Bazaar, Interview, Vanity Fair.

In the years, 2018-2019 decides to give up high fashion photography and moves to Paris.

In 2019 establishes a studio in Paris with an interdisciplinary practice devoted in great part to the exploration of a variety media, most importantly painting and sculpture.
